2. Non-Religious
The selected charities should be non-religious and should not promote any religious beliefs or practices. They should be secular in nature and not associated with any religious institution.
4. Local or Community-Focused
Preference may be given to charities that primarily serve the local, Louisville community or the Greater Kentucky region. Supporting local causes can have a more direct and immediate impact on the community.
6. Financial Transparency:
Charities should be able to provide transparent financial records and demonstrate that a significant portion of donations goes towards their charitable mission rather than administrative expenses.
8. Legal Compliance:
Charities should be in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
10. Selection Committee:
An established committee or panel will review and approve charities for participation in the event. This committee will evaluate applicants based on the above criteria and make the final selections.
12. Annual Review:
V-Soft Cares will regularly review and update the charity selection criteria to ensure they align with your company’s values and any changing community needs.
